Fumigation and Disinfection
Every one talks about fumigation and disinfection of offices, factories etc. but there are no clear guidelines for how to fumigate, what fumigators to use, what disinfectants to use, how often to fumigate, etc? Fumigation is to fight Covid, just can not fumigate with anything. Can any one give some guidance? In fact Health Ministry should guide. It would be a good idea to give a list of companies making such fumigators, and chemicals etc. so that one would be safe. Safety of people fumigating and occupants, material on shop floor, also is equally important.

Yes, attempt are being taken by all countries to create standards for fumigation and disinfection of offices factories and public places. Let us wish that they are successful at the earliest. more

Is it the first time fumigations and disinfection done in INDIA? Do you mean to say the people entrusted with the assignment does not have any idea? If you are an expert please add an attachment to your post. I was a nuclear reactor operator in 1962 to 1964 (Canada India Reactor now called CIRUS)and undergone training in fumigation,disinfection, treat radio activation, and safety training.Have you been to a site where this activity take place? What standards you want it to be written in a manual and ask every one to follow that? Suggest some modifications in the present practice. नाच ना जाने आंगन टेड़ा। more
