Funding of political parties

I see poll on local circle regarding " Election Commission has recommended that anonymous political donations be capped at Rs 2000 as opposed to the current Rs 20,000. ..", before I voice my opinion on same, i would like to understand why political parties funding has to be anonymous at all?? Is their any valid and thoughtful reason behind it.? more

The entire election process should be revamped. Why we need 1900 parties and 400 parties not contesting at all. All these parties are aiming only to collect crores of party funds and black money. So far no party which came to power could not stop corruption, forced prostitution, etc. Then what is the use of so many parties and what good they are doing to people. So far our elders have told us that Govt. is by the people, of the people and for the people. These parties and politicians and their trusted bureaucrats have changed this slogan to Govt is for the netas, by the netas and of the netas. The present election system will not do any good to us. Better ban it and go for only two party system and the PM should select eminent trustworthy people from all fields, preferably un-married people, to be elected by citizens to parliament by secret vote through Internet alone. This type of selecting the representatives will not have any expenditure to the candidates as the canvassing should be permitted only through internet. more
Hello! Shally Verma (Software Engineer) , As you rightly put it , " Any Valid and Thoughtful Reason Behind ? " ?? Your natural pulse pushes me to present my comment very purely . Democracy attracted one and all since every vote of everybody is a part and parcel of ruling the Country . But , the truthfulness of Democracy has taken a back seat as many self-conducting people desire to keep distance from public participation democratically as they are conscious beforehand that they cannot stand out in the rush while their education came to their rescue to remain as a distinguished class altogether , no matter whatever said or heard of them so that they are the anonymous but in better safety than those who rush in . more

DO YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE MORE THAN 1500 (ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ) POLITICAL PARTIES WHICH HAVE NEVER CONTESTED ANY ELECTIONS IN INDIA ? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ??? ORDINARY CITIZENS ARE MADE TO THINK THAT THE ELECTIONS ARE ALL FREE AND FAIR. THIS IS BULL SHIT ! THE ELECTION COMMISSION HAS ALLOWED THIS KIND OF ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR WHAT ??? FOR BLACK MONEY OF COURSE. EACH ONE OF THESE PARTIES ARE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE ELECTION MAFIAS. THEY HAVE A COLECTION OF CITIZENS' VOTES FOR SALE. THE TOTAL VOTES MAY RANGE FROM A MERE HUNDRED TO A FEW THOUSANDS. ANY PARTY CAN PURCHASE THESE VOTES BY BARGAINING WITH THE MAFIAS . SO THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO OUR SO-CALLED DEMOCRACY. ELECTIONS ARE A FARCE . ALL THESE VOTES OF THESE 1500 PARTIES ARE FOR SALE . "PAID VOTES" !!!1 *"PAID JUDGMENTS !!! EVERYTHING IS PURCHASEABLE FOR THE FOOLITICIANS OF INDIA !!!! more
