Gadget repair and servicing must be made cheaper

I whole heartedly agree with some of the posts about Apple repair costs. Its obnoxious. In fact I googled just now and a series of articles on Localcircles survey only appeared

This is rightfully highlighting the high cost of screen display replacement or battery issue repair charges.

I am shocked how most Indian media was busy telling us how good the Apple stores are instead of questioning apple management.

The Govt should take affordable service commitments from all companies signing up for Sell to India or Make in India. more

Government Right to repair instituted, viz. righttorepairindia.gov.in. Will Apple sign up, following the competitor companies. No company can monopolise the repair ecosystem at prohibitive costs, granting the purchaser choice in selecting the affordable third party repair! more  
Phones today have become like consumables. When you can buy an Android phone with similar functionalities for around Rs. 10000, it does not make sense to buy an iPhone at 10 times the price. The former can be replaced every 3 years without regret but the latter? more  
Apple environmentally sound. Apple Inc.'s E-sim remote provisioning - no sim related e-waste, solid state hard drive and a series of measures make Apple excel on environment metric. more
