Gadgets from Micro max

I was one of the users of MM mobile and the TV. I paid exhorbitantly 19000 for Micromax A 210 just 2 years. the battery went off. replacement will not be available freely. went to service centre after waiting for more than 45 minutes I just placed the order, which I was told to come after a week. I was without mobile for a week. with two three reminders I got the one to replace and now just in one year that also is in a throwable condition.
I propagate people to not to purchase China products including electronics but where is the one best in the quality to compete the international market. time for every one, especially the hardware manufacturers think. do we get an Indian made mobile, a tab, a laptop or a modern gadgets like self sticks, mosquito bats, lamps etc. the only hope whether make in india really make the wish to become a reality. more

I bought a micromax 39" led TV in Jan 2015. It lasted only 13 months before the first trouble started with display. The motherboard went. As they do not have any specific service centre with human voice to respond after waiting for 2 weeks i got it repaired by a local service technician spending around 5500/-. After another 12 months the colour control started misbehaving and it is now in repairs with Backlight board gone. Notably, i was using a Sony square tube TV brought from Germany in 1982 and it lasted for 15 years without any trouble and i disposed it off only when the speakers started having failure of the soldering connection to the magnet and handling it became cumbersome due to weight and logistics. I think all the new products coming into India market have at best 2 to 3 years life span if one is lucky . Reason is simple : cost cutting in inputs and components more
It is not expected from reputed companies. Consumer courts should dispose the cases promptly. more
micromax is a good product - lets us not generalize chinese products to be banned based on exceeptions - Indian manufacturers can compete but why they are not able to do so is a big question ? Till that time India as an economy would keep loosing to chinese products more
I was gifted a Micromax A210 about 2 years back. It is running so good that I refused to accept an iPhone to replace it from my children. No problem with battery or anything else. It is easy to use its various functions and I am able to do all my official and personal planning on it. By the way, it is an Indian made phone and I suggest that members of the circle check their facts before writing in public domain. more
The consumer laws as existing now is not enough to handle the developments in IT field and it should contain a specific section to deal with latest developments of business by various FMG. For example mobile manufacturers and carriers loot the consumer in so many ways like having mutual agreements between them to lock the IEMI numbers and extracting money on all ways and not rendering any service either either for hard ware and software and taking an agreement to escape later even while activating and purchasing the set.The refurbished sale of mobiles by Apple is a legal fraud on consumer a they have no responsibility for proper functioning of the the same.Already they do not render any support except recommending to purchase a new one instead doing any repairs. They also promote SIM lock of the Mobile having secret agreements with international carriers and those policies are against consumer. Here strict laws should be enforced to prohibit Foreign sales of Mobiles in INDIA if they do not agree for our consumer laws. more
