Gambling and Online Betting

As Shikha ji rightly pointed out this fantasy gaming rather than online betting around cricket must not be allowed to continue.

A large number of people are betting and this is almost like state lotteries of the 80s and 90s.

These new online apps say they are not betting as it requires skill.

Even the lotteries required doing probabilty analysis.

Modi Govt and courts should not believe such narratives and do their own analysis. Do we need such satta bazars around cricket and our youth.

Pls share your views friends. more

Gambling is everywhere. Casinos are full of gambling. I apprehend whether government can ban this. It is wise enough to tax the income earned out this gambling like lotteries. Let moniter these activities to curb black money, the parallel economy of the nation. more
Gambling is everywhere.....Race Course, Satta Bazar, lotteries, and all activities where winning is only depends on chance and nothing else. It may not be successful effort, if we want to ban gambling in one area and leave it open to people..... Why not think of taxing these areas instead of banning..... more
BETTING LAWS SHALL BE EQUALLY APPLIED. No Exemptions on National and international games/sports more
Gambling is natural. One of the causes of Mahabharta was gambling. Sports activity lends itself to gambling. more
There are some people who are so foolish that they want to throw awy their money on such sattas. How so ever, the Government or the law tries to stop them they will indulge in satta activities. I think the Government should confine itself to issuing warings. Byond that, it is unnecessary to engage police etc to involve themselves. The Police should concentrate into crimes which effect/harm other people. Satta harms the perpetrators and no one else so they should take responsiblity for threir folly. more
