Gaming protal by ICICI BANK??
As per mail received from marketing@icicibank.com despite repeatedly writing to this fraud ICICI BANK not to send any promo emails or any emails at all, it keeps sending. I wonder if this is good service by a bank meant to provide banking service where people lodge their hard earned money.
Coming to this email by the marketing fellows of ICICI BANK, the question that arises is,
" IS A GAMING PORTAL TO LURE CUSTOMERS, A LAWFUL BANKING ACTIVITY?"
The email talks about safe banking tips - WHAT A PARADOX?
This ICICI BANK which practices illegal methods of inventing fake documents in the name of a non-existent loan co-applicant to deceive, cheat and deprive a customer of covenanted benefits, doctors the document and forges signature; talks of safe banking tips.
Perhaps this ICICI Bank wants to impress upon people that practicing illegal methodologies is the current management success mantra.
Yesterday, the yahoo portal carried a news item which states that a Lucknow Court presided by its CJM has passed orders to file FIR against the CEO cum MD and the head of the credit card department of ICICI BANK for defrauding a customer.
Is it necessary that every aggrieved person should knock the doors of a court to get justice?
Is not the police equally guilty for not doing its duty to protect law abiding citizens from the frauds perpetrated by even banks like ICICI BANK, specially when speaking documents of fraud are on record? more

Dear Thukralji, It is indeed a serious matter to all as it affect the lives - social, financial etc. Complaining to RBI would get the complaint routed to Ombudsman automatically and Ombudsman reacts in prejudiced against the complainant. I have gone through such experience in the past. This fraud ICICI Bank indulges in stealth and hidden activities and charges which is against RBI directives. This fraud bank makes allurements to somehow make a customer take a loan or credit card etc and the gullible victim gets trapped in a debt trap. more

I feel if the post of Mr. Ramakrishana is true and genuine, it is matter of serious concern to one and all. May I suggest him to lodge a formal complaint with RBI or Ombudsman with complete facts so that detailed investigation is taken up by concerned authority and post the outcome of the complaint for information of all members. more

Sir my intention was only to solve your problem as you had complained that you keep receiving emails even though you have asked ICICI Bank to stop sending the mails. However after reading your last post I was worried about the problem mentioned by you. I looked for the website, logged on to icicibank games.com and played some of the games. I found the games boring but in my humble opinion there is nothing corrupting or fraudulent in the games I played. They are informative for a lay person and do cover the problem of phishing and also give some basic advice on better use of financial products. I respect your viewpoint but most respectfully cannot agree with it. more

Mr. Irvinder Singh appears to have missed the message and is concerned about unsubscribing such emails. Would it not be better to comment on the main issue of a private bank's greed to get business by indulging in non-banking practice? Should not a message go to such greedy ICICI BANK that has no business to talk of safety measures that too through a gaming portal ( kids and children are the ones that generally use gaming portals and can be easily influenced by a fraud bank) when THIS ICICI BANK ITSELF PRACTICES ILLEGAL AND CRIMINAL METHODS TO CHEAT? Why should a bank be allowed to get into non banking activities such as a gaming portal? Why should a fraud bank be allowed to corrupt kids and children who are the ones that use gaming portals? Do you want your children to be influenced by such fraud banks like ICICI BANK and spoil their lives? more
