Given the population density of India and other challenges, if no restrictions are placed in districts with week/week case growth and 500+ active cases, do you believe with testing, contact tracking and containment, districts in India will be able to impact transmission of the virus?

Tracking and Testing and Containment will do nothing if people are mobile all over the place.

India reported 1,26,789 new COVID19 cases, 59,258 discharges, and 685 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per MOHFW

We have to restrict movement in all high load districts and then test trace and contain. more

Blame game is not going to contain the spike of Covid-19. Govt can legislate preventive & precautionary measures. It is the environment which has to follow and ensure that every one is following it religiously. Unfortunately the response from environment is very very poor. Let us all join hands and contain the pandemics. more
The rise in covid cases is mainly due to citizens not taking seriously to practice the prescribed protocols to prevent spreading/getting the virus. governments are being forced to impose restrictions which will effect the income of many individuals and businesses. The other activities of government gets lower focus. Citizens should stop blaming the government for restrictions and start cooperating to avoid restrictions and even lockdowns. more
Immunity can be provided either by vaccine or by infection. Depends on individual's caution. more
It can also be provided by a strong immune system. more
Both, the people n the Govts. should behave responsibly to follow all the measures suggested to contain this epidemic. When the guidelines r clear, why should we people expect the Govts. to prevail upon us. It's for our own benefit, we all need to follow n help govt. do their job. more
