I agree with you Mr. Sridhar. Our media is anti Hindu. Yesterday while watching a leading TV channel I was shocked to find its anchor questioning absence of PM Modi from an Iftar Party given by President of India on last Sunday as also why PM has not himself hosted an Iftar Party whereas all the past Prime Ministers have been doing so. Iftar is a ritual to break the fast at the end of the day during Ramadan by Muslims. I wonder why a secular State like India should squander its money on this ritual meant for a specific religious community. Does any body in the Govt. hold a party to observe any Hindu ritual? Moreover, the fast is observed by devout Muslims and not by followers of other faith then why should later participate in this ritual? I think it is against the spirit of the Constitution of India to spend money from Consolidated fund of India in this manner on a religious function of a specific religion. If there is a Muslim President surely he can invite his Muslim brethren and other friends to observe the ritual as much as a Hindu President can invite his friends to celebrate Deepavali/Holi. more
