GOD save UP
This is my experience which I had on going to the minister's house....
The minister was out of station. There was a small room where someone accepts complaints. One person, who seemed to be doing so,was sitting there with about 3 or 4 more people.
We put up our case. One of the persons sitting there said to me-" hindu is complaining against hindu, why don't you complain against the muslims ?" My colleague said that why was he deviating the issue, as our problem was with the mandir, to which the person replied-why shouldn't the loud speakers play ? We went into an argument, I told my colleague that nothing is possible in UP, let's go. I came out, my colleague kept sitting. After some time he came out. He told me that the person who had an argument with me was the minister's father.
Now this was the scene. How can you expect things to improve if father's of ministers are running the show and trying to convert everything into cast-ism. I am not very optimistic even though the high court has issued orders.GOD save UP. more
My father went to the puja committee and requested them to slow down the volume of the loudspeakers. I was surprised that the members of the committee not only apologised but they reduced the volume to almost nil and that was also through out 4 days.
Thinking of the festive mood of the locals, my father and myself were felt for the sentiment and asked them to increase the volume little more to the extent it did not affect my studies. They said that sir, Durga Puja will come every year but this exam ( Board) would come only once in everybody life. We should give your child a a peaceful environment to study.
So, this should be the mentality of the people. If, we ourselves try to understand ourselves problem and live as a family, I think we need not pray to any Police or, minister.
With this story, I humbly request all to create awareness among the mass to make the society in peace and harmony. Thanks....
