Though your idea is laudable, the question is as to who will bell the big cat, i.e. the pesticide business lobby which may having deep connections and money power over those who rule us. Moreover, most of us are greedy and selfish to somehow make huge profit irrespective of whether it harms the health of other people or not! Unless our Government is sincere and earnest to strictly enforce penal laws against those using dangerous pesticides and until all of us are also willing to do away with "money/profits earned by doing business of products which may kill other people", I am afraid, fatal cancer and other diseases may continue to conquer and devastate us altogether. Strong public opinion is mandatory against manufacture, marketing and use of any kind of harmful chemicals and pesticides in the country. more  

I have used it with good results. Else one can always used coke and pepsi for the same purpose. Farmers can take a note of it. more  

A man, by nature, is greedy. He wants to maximize income by hook or crook. Synthetic pesticides help a farmer to do so. Organic manure is not available in the required quantity and is costly also as the number of animals has gone down considerably over the decades. The income of people has increased and they have stopped rearing animals. Tractors have added to the problem. Animal/cow urine cannot replace pesticides as the requirement is huge. If the use of pesticides/insecticides is controlled, there will be much reduction in cancer cases or other life taking diseases. more  

We will have to follow the agricultural practices used before the introduction of pesticide and chemical fertilisers in India. The country will grow stronger. Each one of us will have to take a pledge that he will maintain a small piece of land and cultivate it with own hands. more
