Good catch by Railways - Our chances of getting a ticket went up

Well done , we appreciate this information . Railways need to now concentrate on the historical data of wait listed tickets that are refunded and get a solution for that problem .
Railways need to carry every passenger that needs to travel with reservation he opts and help him get a confirm ticket by increasing the number of bogies or by giving a confirm RAC on the platform one hour before the departure .

4 or 12 hours requirement for alternative search varies from person to person. more

I partly agree with Chaitanya! Get RAC or waitlist confirmed. But it should be atleast 12 hrs. before departure not 4r hrs. before departure. It leaves no room for any alternative solution e.g. Air or Road or the other day. more
