Good job Railways New Delhi station
Our first IRCTC Executive Lounge experience at New Delhi Railway Station (PF1) yesterday!
We arrived an hour early for our train, so we decided to try it out. Free entry and a complimentary buffet are available if you have any of these cards:
1️⃣ IDFC FIRST Bank Select/Millennia/Wealth/Classic Credit Cards : Lifetime free
2️⃣ ICICI Coral & Mine Cards
3️⃣ MakeMyTrip ICICI Platinum/Signature
4️⃣ IRCTC SBI Platinum & Premier
5️⃣ AU Bank Vetta, Altura, Zenith
6️⃣ IRCTC HDFC Credit Card
Unfortunately, we weren’t carrying any of these, so we paid Rs. 190/person for an hourly service (complimentary tea/coffee included; buffet extra).
The lounge offers seating, recliner, sleeping areas, a dining section, dedicated shower, and changing rooms. You can even book a bed in the dormitory for Rs. 670 for 2 hours!
Having taken a train after so long, it was nostalgic to see the evolution—no waiting rooms to AC waiting rooms, and now this! While it’s not luxe, it’s a very basic, clean, quiet space with decent seating—Indian Railways stepping up for travelers’ comfort is a welcome change. more

Good. Indian Railways should establish such lounge in every prominent stations but most important is maintenance of such lounges, which should not be compromised under any circumstances. more

Good job done by IR.But for middle class and poor.even chairs or waiting room with fans, Luxury trains,rajdhani etc are fir well todo society. congratulations for minister to add more general coaches in fast trains. Express trains, even waiting to be superfast on the same track Changes are there, but more on upper edge and at lower edge , less changes seen. Weekly frequency,where only one train runs,like trn 14313.from decades. more

Only concern that educated & rich peoples who are entering in this Lounge should be keep neat & clean. Otherwise in few days it will be like Rajdhani Train Coaches. more

I already stayed in Ahmedabad lounge year back charge is same 200rs per hour it is good specially in late night hours more

In addition to defence exports silently it's seen that the Indian Railways is exporting a lot of the newly designed coaches at a price that is 30% lesser than what's available in the marketplace, improvisations r being made to the Bullet train template offered to us, once that starts & our IR starts manufacturing Bullet trains too one can imagine how profitable is it going to b. Further if the semi conductor business, rare earth & lithium businesses scale up.... Bharat might reach the position of those yesteryear days when v were contributing 24% of the world's GDP. Let's hope the PM & his team continue without interruptions for another 25 years...Jai Hind more
