NPPA has capped trade margins for 5 medical devices at 70%
1. Pulse oximeter
2. Nebulizer
3. Digital Thermometer
4. BP monitoring machine
5. Glucometer

Existing margins from 3%-709%!
Revised prices from July 20, 2021.

Kudos localcircles and circle members u have been raising issue of trade margin for 2-3 years now. Hope more devices are included in this soon. Attached details. more

It is a good move, as the items are now under heavy use by the consumers in pandemic situation. more  
Instead of complaining about prices of devices (which go up or down based on demand and supply), the need for them can be avoided if only the people avoided inviting a covid infection, which can be mostly be prevented by proper wearing of the mask while in public and avoiding crowded places. If people and governments are careless, 3rd wave is inevitable as covid will be with us even into the next year. more  
Items like what Deenaz has mentioned need to be addressed and if similar items are collated by people in this group then as a list it can be sent to the dept for necessary action. Appreciate if all members can contribute to making the list exhaustive to the best extent so that at one shot this can be done than afterthought additions more
