Google Pay is a Cheat

On 30th of Aug, 2019, I booked one train ticket through IRCTC and Google Pay. The money was deducted from my account by Google Pay but not received by IRCTC and hence ticket was not booked. I contacted to Google Pay and they said that I will get my money back in 3 working days. After that they started saying that they have escalated the issue with their team and now they are saying that they aren't responsible for this and I have to contact to IRCTC. I contacted to IRCTC and they said that I have to contact to Google Pay. Now I am treated as a football between these two. more

It's the duty of irtc to put money back on the acc more
It's all because of the lacks of Indian laws.any Tom dick and Harry can play in our financial systems. Government should come out with proper rules under such circumstances. Put the nation first. more
Don't get lured by glossy advertisements/sweet e-mails/fabulous freebies /exclusive offers. etc. of such payment banks. Deal directly with the payee (in this case the IRCTC) directly, to the extent feasible. more
Complain to RBI formally and ask for immediate reversal of transaction. But remember you took the decision to join Google Pay on your own. So get ready to loose money, if inevitable more
RBI will not get into your case. Google pay will address your issue if the case is put to them with dates, time, amount, SMS, etc. more
As expressed by the victim, it seems Google Pay is responsible for this failed transaction since IRCTC did not received the money and hence ticket not booked. So he has to follow up with Google Pay only. If he does not get his money back within resaonable time, he must escalate the issue with RBI and all social media, press etc. more
