Gorakhpur Tragedy and Indian Railway

What the Principal of Medical College and gas supplier did in Gorakhpur, Our Railway is also faithfully doing the same thing. Whenever issues have been raised with Railway we get following answers:
1. There is no adequate traffic on particualr route.
2. There is no place at platforms of terminus to start anew train and Today Prabhu is flagging of new train from the same terminus. How the facility came all of sudden.
3.There is a circular which say pilferage in comercial traffics has to be checked.
4. There is a circualr which say dairy products should be ensured.
5. We have taken action against unauthorised parking since 1947 yet the problem scontinue to exist.
6. RPF people are available round the clock yet they continue their partneship with thieves.
7.You prove there is something wrong.
8.Inspection was carrie dout and no wrong ws found. The fact is it was all preplanned drams.
More or less what happened at Gorakhpur: supplier sya he gave a legal notice for non payment, principal say I wrote a letter and no one noticed that children have dies as it was no where written in agreement that you should save lives of Children. Supplier in stead of supplying oxygen , supply letters to Press, Principal in stead of ensuring supply write to Health Dept an dthat is all. Same is happening in Railway an dall other dept. After CAG report, railway said we have taken action against some contractors fined them and that is all and catering continue to be of animal grade for that nothing more is required to be done. Impose some fine and continue eating animal food that is what our Indian democracy and Indian Railway ir. Great Keep it up. I wonder why it is not a Banana Railway or republic. more

Now it si Muzafarnagar Tragedy. Have some sence. more
The hospital administration has to answer why payments to supplier is pending. The infection is life threatening in itself. Was that the reason or was it due to want of oxygen? This is atechnical field that only doctors can answer. The media is not suitably educated to answer this. So let us get facts. Without this we are just beating around the bush. more
The lack of accountability and over doze of job security are responsibile for many ills every Govt. institution is facing today. The corrupt, under performing or non performing employees are never dismissed from service. If by chance, some one is suspended/dismissed, he immediately buys stay order from the Court and ultimately wins the case with back wages and promotion as there is again rampant corruption in Courts. There is urgent need to change the work culture in every Govt. institution in the country by linking salaries/promotion to performance only. The ruling party politicians should not have any role in appointment, posting and promotion as it leads to corruption and killing of merit. more
General Indian "Reactionary Approach" after a calamity happens is root cause for many incidents. Preventive actions are never taken or at least shown any importance, especially in health sector. Simply giving funding Govt think that their job is over. Pharma sector is ultimate beneficiary since all money will be used for pharma purchases!!! Nobody thinks of preventing the disease outbreak. It is unfortunate and we need to live with these evils. more
Our expectations from the present railway ministry is very high and most of the existing issues are inherited and the railways are probably unable to cope up with them to our satisfaction as quickly as we expect due to existing geographical as well as historical reasons. However, total eradication of the existing nepotism & corruption in the giant public transport company would definitely work as a saviour of its lost pride. more
