It seems that around 30,000 trackmen work at the homes of senior railway officials and they have been asked to resume their official duties, it is really applaudable move by the new railway minister. The trackman’s job is to maintain the condition of the tracks. Of late train accidents due to derailment has increased mainly because of faulty railway tracks( which may be due to sabotage, improper maintenance of the train tracks etc.,) These can be taken care of to some extent by deploying those 30,000 trackmen who are being wrongly used as domestic help. more
Very good achievement of local circle if it is implemented . thousands of track men & khalasies back to work on Railway track. more
OK.There are several issues besides this to what use these persons will be tob railways whether these are to retreched or to be trained for maintenance . more
What about one or two orderlies waiting at entrance for arrival of the 'Shahab' - to open the gate of the car and carrying Sahab's briefcase, may be lunchbox, newspaper (what the Shahab read while in the car) ? And, reversal of the same process while the Shahab is leaving office ? I was also one of such a privileged individual, but had been a measurable failure to identify myself as a physically handicapped (unable to open/close the car's door and to carry the briefcase etc.) as also mentally retarded (to exhibit my authority like a feudal). Let all Government machineries (Central/State) be activated to stop such uncultured practices. more
Mr Sarkar you are right, now States and central also stop misuse of workers.politicians are miss using the maximum employees of state & central government.it should be stopped. more
I wonder in what way would this step benefit the Railways or the Nation! Always had the impression that keeping domestic help was a matter of affordability and giving jobs to those who were willing to take..... more
I received an email about a posting by Sri. JAGANNADHA SWAMY. When I clicked to read more, I was notified that post is deleted. Does someone know why his post was deleted? more
