Govt bans 54 more chinese apps

LocalCircles had done this study on chinese apps investment products and today Govt has banned another 54 apps attached list. However many people continue to use VPN and use these products. Even many govt officers still use cam scanner to scan documents which is a banned app.

Solution needed so these apps just cannot be used going forward. The app stores like Google Apple Microsoft know when users are using it through vpn or existing user. They need to act too.

Thats when the chinese will feel some loss. Right now its just feel good for us Indians and the Govt. more

Bans are observed in breach, but then this is a good step, as otherwise there could be a free run for state surveillance and espionage. More robust measures through software, perhaps, a must, to do counter-espionage, since the same can happen even originating from India. more
Is there any software solution which can prevent all the banned apps from getting down loaded? more
I take care in buying Indian products but sometimes if can't I give up my choice more
Good comments. When I buy a product, I look for the label for where it is manufactured. I do not buy Made in China products. However, if something I really need, sometimes I had to buy since the market is flooded with Made in China products. more
Is there any mechanism to prevent the use of Chinese apps? How will the ban be implemented? Else, it will be another office order for the sake of mental satisfaction. more
