Govt bans advertising by overseas betting platforms

Super excellent work LocalCircles but my question is why not saurabh ganguly’s mycircle 11, dream11, mpl and many others that are Indian. Betting is betting how does it matter? No one should be allowed to advertise. more

Agree. It is sad that during cricket matches viewing public is bombarded with such ads and also disturbing that role models like many Indian Team cricketers, SRK, Shahid Kapur etc are their brand ambassadors just for money. Why are we trying to promote gambling? Just saying 'Play responsibly' does not absolve either that platform or that celebrity from their own responsibility for promoting wrong values. more
