Govt. intentionally keeping people poor.

I think it is a well thought out long term plan to keep the majority poor, by all political parties. The reservation policies were envisioned for 10 years, but still running. Exodus of Brahmins due to Dravidian rule. The populist and freebie culture. No accountability for usage of state funds. A state of fear due to use of police by the ruling parties, to suppress free speech. Projecting criminals as revolutionary leaders. No NEET, so TN medical students need not study too hard and management quota is collecting cash.
Even infrastructure development is only done for kickbacks. more

STANDARD OF TAMILNADU STUDENTS HAS FALLEN FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH. DOCTORS STANDARD IS TO BE MADE QUESTIONABLE.(MAKE THEM UNCOMPETITIVE AGAINST DOCTORS OF OTHER PARTS OF INDIA) AGITATING AGAINST COMMON ENTRANCE TEST IS TO DEGRADE THE MEDICAL EDUCATION, IN TAMILNADU. THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN LOT OF VILLAGES ARE IN INDIA.WILL THEY NOT AFFECTED BY THE TEST.WHILE OTHER PARTS OF INDIANS ARE NOT AGITATING, THE OPPOSITION FOR MEDICAL ENTRANCE TEST AT TAMILNADU QUOTING THE VILLAGE PEOPLE MAY BE DENIED AN OPPORTUNITY SEEM TO BE A SINISTER MOVE ONLY--VGK more
VERY WELL SAID HARI NAIR - IF PEOPLE BECOME INTELLIGENT AND AWARE, THE DAYS OF THE POLITICIANS WOULD BE NUMBERED. IT IS IN THEIR OWN INTEREST THAT THE POLITICIANS ARE KEEPING US DIVIDED BY INVOKING CASTE, RELIGION ETC., YES, THEY HAVE WELL LEARNT THE TECHNIQUE FROM THE BRITISHERS WHO HAD USED THIS SAME TACTICS AND RULED INDIA FOR OVER 200 YEARS..!!.. THE PRESENT DAY POLITICIANS ARE ALSO EMPLOYING THE SAME TACTICS AND ARE ENSURING THAT "THEY RULE OVER US FOR EVER "..IN FACT, THE SYSTEM OF RESERVATION IN VARIOUS FIELDS LIKE GOVT JOBS, EDUCATION, ETC IS ANOTHER AREA BY WHICH THEY WILL ENSURE THAT " THEIR OWN CHILDREN " ARE ASSURED OF SCHOOL/ COLLEGE ADMISSIONS AND THEN ALSO JOBS IN GOVT. DEPARTMENTS SO THAT " THEIR" CHILDREN PROSPER ..!!.. HOPE THIS "DIVIDE AND RULE' BY CASTE, RELIGION, RESERVATION ETC ARE BROUGHT TO AN END SOON SO THAT THESE PARASITES ARE UNSUCCESFUL IN THEIR "DIVIDE AND RULE" ACT AND WE PROSPER ON OUR OWN MERIT. more
Mr.Hari Nair - I agree with your list of ills of our present day politics. They not only keep the people poor but also ignorant & illeterate. Because, if they become aware they will not vote for these MLAs and MPs. Thinkers like us should increase in numbers and we must exercise our vote without fail and also contribute out mite in increasing awareness among the people. more
It is not only keeping people poor, but dividing people on caste and religion (enough had been said about this in our movies), reservation based on caste... just to name a few. If our constitution dictates these, then it is time that these are changed. more
Politicians of all varieties have been successful in keeping the majority of population in the beggars category and claim that they are the saviors of the down-trodden.It is a wastage of and burden on the public money.Even after 70 years of reservation and freebies, how many poor/downtrodden have come up in life and status? The only achievement of all Governments is exodus of so called forward communities and dearth of brain and talents inside the country. more
