COVID is well on its way to becoming endemic. Travel should not be restricted but proper safety measures like pre/post travel tests, vaccination and home quarantine measures should be ensured. Hospitalization should be resorted for infected persons where absolutely necessary. Booster doses can be continued for a few years till the infection severity/mortality declines. Masking and social distancing should continue in public spaces. Vaccination of children should be taken up once safety and effectiveness are satisfactorily tested. Education and production activities should be fully resumed to reduce economic impact on society. more
Yet people are travelling the hectic parleys notwithstanding. The incentive to mingle and interact strong that humans find ways or excuses for doing so, along with the overall affluence. Unlike last year, when for 68 days, when even nature regenerated. Nevertheless, this too is optimal for the present circumstances requiring some economic rejuvenation along with restrictions. more
I think there shouldn't be any ban. Let the things go as it was before covid. I bet, after few months they will come up with a new virus with a trimercrone variation saying B 2.1.5.5T etc. Where is the end? more
Air/rail travel should be opened in a phased manner depending upon covid situation in every country/State. India is a poor country and there is no need to be over cautious. more
This is not a victory. Doing something that will only harm the country. more
