Try booking international tickets and its insane. Mumbai-London with travel portals is now between 1.2 to 3.5 lakhs. ridiculous. more

In case of air travel these days, domestic or international, you get cheap tickets if you book much in advance. Tickets become costlier as the travel date comes closer. Grounding of Jet Airways has made the situation worse. The government has no role in this. more

Why should the government interfere in international travel? that too of private citizens? When you wish to travel abroad, it is by choice. Whether you are traveling to visit family or just on a holiday, it is YOUR choice. If the costs are high, you always have the option to not go out. Government has the priority to provide for those who are struggling for food, clothing and shelter and not for foreign jaunts. more
