Govt’s supporting airlines is plain wrong

So Suresh Prabhu’s aviation ministry is working out a support package for the airline industry.

This is just pathetic poor sad use of tax payer money. The airlines generated a boat load of profits from 2015-2018, indigo did billion dollar ipo many of their employees live in the vicinity made millions. Spicejet management same thing and now when the tide turned these companies are seeking Govt support.

Why dont they seek the support of their promoters and investors. Jet airways report in media says that govt is inspecting them for allegedly taking out cash from
Business. Same thing as Kingfisher and our Govt wants to do a bailout package.

Suresh prabhu ji think twice please. Air India is already bankrupt. Please dont use our tax payer cess paid money to bail out these profiteers.

Friends please raise your voice. Its such moves of govt that encourage you to not pay taxes and loose confidence.

I have said that for a long time that the hard working people's tax dollars should not be used on a failing Government run airline like airIndia. It needs to be sold out to the best bidder and stop supporting the bureaucrats and family's flying free. It has shown over and over again that this sort of "socialist jobs program" is so bad for the country and just wrong. They have no good HR practices, no accountability from employees and rampant corruption. Get rid of what it is todays Air India. more
Air India and Indian Airlines were never in such a pathetic condition. One NCP Minister during UPA 1 and UPA 2 took bribes from Private Carriers,Foreign Airlines and gave them all benefits at the cost of Air India and Indian Airlines.Pity is nobody is talking on this and no action has ever been initiated on this person.Even media is also not doing any thing. This is the present day Politics. more
Let the Airlines fix the price or cut the price and be self sufficient. Tax payers money should be misutilised. more
This is open loot and scam and support to the crooks and cronies is nothing but crony Capitalism . I wish less corrupt people form the new govt in 2019 more
before any support to air lines thorough auditing of income and spending must be done. govt must find out and plug hole for syphoning money. hotel expenditure of pilot/ staff is also a big budget for airlines more
