GST anger - BJP wounds
Am a big time supporter of BJP and Modi. Also Jaitley. But off late, the GST implementation seems to have benefitted only the middlemen and vendors but not the people. Everywhere I see, people are complaining about GST helping prices to be increase. Ex: Hotel food prices. And the Govt is not doing anything for sure in the fear of vote loss.
This is an additional pinch on the people who has already been troubled by Demonetization (thought intent is good).
If BJP doesnt wake up properly in controlling prices, doing some populist measures, enhancing the faith and trust of middle-class people, the chances of BJP winning will become bleak.

It is all Congress sponsored rubbish propaganda. What amazes me is that educated people are so vulnerable to false propaganda while semi-/un-educated ones know for sure, who is ruling over the nation !! PM Modi explained economy and effectively responded to all points raised by the band of Prophets Of Doom & Gloom at ICSI, New Delhi. While nation moved on from FRAGILE-5 to G-ONE, these Harvard / Oxford / Cambridge degree holders in Economics blabbered around like Headless-Chicken pleasing their Masters abroad. The Gang of Prophets Of Doom & Gloom are no more assets for the nation. They are mere liabilities. I am pained to learn that people decide about a performance of a government merely on from a selfish lens. GST is poised to do so good for the country and there are some lacunae and we must desist from seeing things from purely as a selfish citizen. more

Even I am a big support of BJP and their policies but this GST has created some serious problems. I have booked a flat last year with 50:50 plan and i already have paid 50% amount with service tax @ 4.5%. Now builder is saying I'll have to pay remaining 50% with 12%GST, no input-output credit benefit is confirmed. So what has happened to PM's home for all scheme? I'm from lower middle class earning group having mind set of not demanding anything free from government. But I have voted for fair policies and governance, not for the extra burden on my basic necessities like home. Why do I pay 7.5% extra tax when this not a luxury item but a need for all. Because of anti end-user policy RERA we are already paying extra for delay and on top of that this GST has break our back bone. Mr PM we haven't demanded for free home but atleast don't put extra burden on us. more
