GST on fees of coaching cleases
Students has to prepare for JEE main and advanced to take admission in Engineering . We don't have good faculties and sources at Government schools for preparation to these competitive examinations . Schools do not provide good coaching for these examinations . In such situations , students has to take private coaching . These coaching classes wants big amount as a tuition fees from the students . Already these fees are so high that common man has to face much difficulties to pay it . Moreover to this , Government want 18 % GST on these fees . Students are end users , so they have to pay the GST ultimately .
Actually Government schools should give good coaching and good education to all students . Education should be free . Instead of free education , GST is being claimed from students . Education field must be GST free .If we could make the complete education free, then we can have revolution in education field . We will have a more literacy rate . To compensate education expenditure we should minimise the unnecessary expenditure on political leaders and repeated elections . more

Actually Government schools should give good coaching and good education to all students . Education should be free . How broken our governance and how incredible our hypocrisy must be that we cannot make profits from educating young Indians, but earn thousands of crores by giving them tuitions? One way of figuring out how big the coach ing business is and how fast it's growing is to just look at the GST the Centre has been collecting from them. In 2019-2020, the GST collected at the rate of 18 per cent was ₹2,240 crore. Five years later, it has already gone up more than 150 per cent to ₹5,517 crore. It is estimated that it'll go up to about 15,000 crore by 2029. more

These private institutions are collecting Huge amount of tuitions fee annually. So it is a big source of tax for government .However the Govt. should realise that the GST burden falls on students/their parents (and not on pvt. institutions ) and some of these students are not so rich to afford 18 % tax . But they are helpless. Actually by charging GST the govt. is depriving poor but deserving students from higher education. more

My cousin sister is having home tutioms teaching about ten students of classes five and six And is able to earn about Rs 3000-3500 per month resulting about Rs 40,000-/- a year .
