We have been alloted a work order for integrated power development project by Pujnjab state power corporation. The first part of the work order pertains to the supply of material portion and the second part is for erection installation and commissioning of the material . Now my query is as under:- 1. What will be the rate of applicable GST 2. Should we quote HSN code of the individual items to be supplied for the supply portion or SAC no. For the contract work will have to be quoted only both for supply as we’ll as erection portion of the work contract more
Please note that there are some items in the contract which we need to supply without of any cost more
Many thanks to all for your response. I was quite sure of the GST rules on packaged FMCG but wanted confirmation from my LocalCircles community. Mr Virmani, since you are with Jago Grahak Jago, could you please guide me on what redressal steps I can take to bring the erring company to book. This is a large company - Amway, with an annual turnover of more than ₹200 crore. I will be writing a separate post since I cannot attach the bill in this post. So grateful if you could kindly advise on next steps. more
Maximum Retail Price by its very name indicates that no further amounts are chargeable beyond it. This is why many manufacturers like Patanjali had to resort to fresh packaging. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 8th March, 2018 more
MRP is the price that includes all sorts of taxes. GST cannot be charged on the MRP. more
MRP as the term connotes is Maximum Retail Price, which is the printed price after all taxes. so there will be no tax charged on MRP. for the purpose for remittance of tax, the retailer, will have to back work the GST and remit to the Government. ITC can be taken on their purchase price. more
