I have been told by my industry association friends that Finance Minister listens to localcircles and takes interest in collective asks of this platform.
I am not sure if this poll is being done to give her feedback but everyone must vote on it as both consumer and business will be impacted.

In the present system income above Rs 3.00 lakhs is taxed.Only the salaried class employees are taxed at source.There are crores of people earning above this amount and are not taxed.Hence our system has lot of flaws and they are to be corrected.I think the time has come when tax should be based on total assets of individuals. more

Our government is compelled to keep the rates on higher side to make up the revenue loss being caused due to tax evasion, which is probably the highest in the world. more

What Mr. Ishtiaq Adam says seems to be quite logical. But he should also state that there should be NO TAX EVASION along with the figure of 15%. more

Root cause of all corruption is tax free income by politicians and political parties. They should be brought under tax perview. For business community, it is difficult to ascertain their income and they are taking the help of CAs and avoiding tax. All CAs are to be advised suitably not to adopt undue methods, else the tax structure should be revised suitably. Big farmers with sufficient income should be covered under tax regime. Health Insurance should be at lesser GST. more
