GST rates for Covid-19 items

Hand Sanitizer : 18%
Medicine : 12%
PPE : 12%
Ventilator : 12%
Mask : 5%

Should such Covid 19 essential items attract tax during a pandemic? Why can't GST be ZERO on them? more

Maximum 5% should be charged on any items related to this pandemic at least for 1 year exempting masks, hand gloves, face shield and sanitizers. At the same time curbs should be there for controlling rates/MRP of these products irrespective of brands and also standarising quality/content. After that it should be reviewed based on prevailing situation. more  
Oh , they need money to build new parliament and many other similar plans. more  
At least masks should be exempted to zero other covid related items should attract maximum 5% GST. more
