GST rates rationalisation needed

With whatever new Government we have, can we brainstorm and then LC manager make a citizens submission to the Govt on how all these GST rate anomalies needs to be corrected.

18% GST on essential nutritional supplements, protein powder, glucose & electrolytes for ELDERLY & FRAIL.

18% GST on food preparations for infants.

18% GST on bread, biscuits.

18% GST on printing ink.

28% GST on Air Con which is essential for neuro patients.

12% GST on Walking Stick (Essential for ELDERLY & FRAIL)

12% GST on Footwear

12% GST on Clothes

18% GST on Mobile phone, laptop, Desktop, Hard Drive, RAM, Printer— new purchase as well as repair service.

18% GST on Stationery & paper. more

Since GST is useful for Govt as it covers every Purchaser i.e. irrespective of the person is Agriculturist and not paying Income Tax. Then Income Tax rate must be reduced and see the reality of the Market Conditions.Atleast Govt must DOAWAY Income Tax For Senior Citizens. more  
I would include to the list 28% GST on Life Insurance, Medical Insurance and mandatory vehicle insurance. more  
GST System is good but it has a loop hole for fraudsters to take advantage of. It is Ïnput Tax Credit" (ITC). As per reports of Govt. ITC is 400% of GST collected. To make GST as Good and Simple Tax as was claimed by PM Shri Modiji there is need to work out GST rates without ITC. Suggested rates are: For exempted goods & Services: 0% For all goods and services: 5% For Luxury goods: 10% Exempted categories should include: 1. Members contribution towards common expenses in a Coop. Hsg. Society and RWA 2. Medical Insurance premium 3. Hospital Inpatient charges 4. TV Viewing more  
18% GST on mediclaims is affecting badly to senior citizens. Govt. is silent despite our appeal to review the same since inception. LC can help to take it up with appropriate authority. more  
If someone from GST Council is reading, please get the 18% GST on health and normal insurance policies scrapped or reduced to 5% at the max. Insurance is not an item of luxury - it's a basic necessity today.. more
