GST

I agree with Sanjoy Bhattacharya.
We also raise Invoice on our client.
The client cuts the bill (In certain cases we even don't get paid).
We are still made to pay GST from our own pocket, resulting in large Financial loss.
We therefore request that govt. should permit small enterprise to pay GST on receipt of our invoice. more

Make a draft invoice for review and approval of clients. Once draft approved raise the invoice for payment. Accept NO Part Payment, and consider withdrawal and cancellation of such invoices where client objects to full payment as per invoice. Make a not on invoice in this regard. more
I agree with Sanjoy. There are lot of problems. In my case, there is transit lose, which client does not pay. We not only suffer the material lose but the GST already paid on the consignment. My accountant says there is no provision to revise the return. In VAT we were revising the return within 6 months. NO TAX LIABILITY WAS GENERATED. more
Obviously Transit Loss would not eb borne by the receiver of the goods. It has to be borne by the sender. I did not understand Mr. Bhatnagar's logic. more
I agree with Manish Kumar. But government should do some thing about this problem. In many cases the buyer make part payment or don't pay only for goods supplied to them. We loose both the amount of goods supplied to them and GST also. There should be some solutions for this from Govt. more
Yes I agree with Ravindra. Govt. should be take care about such types incident. Otherwise it is difficult for small entity to sustain. more
you take debit note instead of cutting on Invoice. your gst will be adjusted. In cases where we dont get paid then either you take debit note so that gst will be reversed (your customer has to enter debit note in their GST return). Also get registered with MSME and apply for unpaid Invoices. your customer will pay with interest. I know above things are easier said then done. But these are options available more
It is not easy. My client is in Goa and has deducted 10,000.00. Promised to give Debit note, in Oct. But not received till date. At best - do no business too far place. This is what PM wants us to do business - only local sales. more
