Dear Sasi, RCM is only for GTA (Goods transport) and not with any other, and it is a fact which I have clearly explained that I could'nt file GSTR1 for Nov 17 on due date becos of Website flaws and even our tax advisors also faced the same issue, you might be lucky in filing without hurdles but people never comment without facts !! pl refrain from such comments !! more
Dear Joshi Today I filed GSTR 3B for December. No issues faced. It is not luck.It is a fact that GST web site is functional for GSTR 3B,GSTR1 for July to November. Due date for GSTR 1 for December is 10th Feb and hence I have not tried. As regards RCM my undertanding is that RCM is applicable for transactions with GTA who has not opted for FCM and also for transactions with Un Regd Dealers-self invoicing. more
Dear friend unless you clear the Tax liability the system will not allow to file return. The peocess is as follows. 1.Submit GSTR 3B 2. Then clear tax liability-IGST from IGST,CGST from CGST and SGST from SGST credit,if available. 3.Liability under RCM should be remitted. You can not offset it with credit available. Website flaws are not the responsibility of dealer. But for the problems in connectivity of dealer, the GST is not responsible. I learn that the GST web site is ready and active before the due date for filing returns GSTR 3 B. We have filed all GSRT 3Bs from July till December without any problem. more
There is no RCM now and it is the luck of the dealer depends upon while the return I have faced problem while filing GSTR1 for Nov 17 continusouly for 5 days well before due date and few have filed without problem, what to say about this !?? more
yes you are right, GST website flaws are not fully settled and each time one or other error occurs and taxpayers simply face the issue and helpdesk is useless !! more
Even Helpdesk has no idea more
If there is problem in submitting the return, you can take screenshot of this error or messages and mail to gst helpdesk more
