If a dealer has availed ITC based on physical invoices and same not reflected in GSTR2A for 17-18 financial year how to rectify in GSTR9 now ...My Ans..Nothing to worry just fill all columns as per books only forget GSTR2A more

Do not be oversmart, aprt from GST liability you are going to face notices from IT dept for hawala purchases and if amounts are large, face money laundering charges also. All these arguements do not work. Peopel have suffered in VAT and the same shall be story in GST. Do not pay if your supplier does not upload your transactions. File F.I.R. and at first plac ehow do you deal with such people. The facts are you have taken Hawala bills an dnow quoting laws to save yourself. If purchases are genuine, just purchase again and withhold payment or go na dfile F.I.R. That you will not do becaus eyou ahve taken hawala bills by payiong one or two percent. On eshould not exhibit any sympathies for such habitual hard core looters and let them suffer. Do not depend upon such advices, just prevai upon suppliers by hook or crook to file returns. more
If u cannot compel ur own Supplier to file Gstr....Crux of the problem...It is Self Correction Mechanism inherent in GST...i.e also foregone by Govt ..still Dealers saying GST ODD...Dont do business...sit at home and be happy ... more
GSTR9 filed by actual (as per books of account) basis more
I fail to understand if at all GSTR 2A is of no use, why these information are provided at all. There is no sence in following decade old idiotness of challenging each and every thing and then one day ending up ruining the entire empire as have happened with several great houses. No government, anywhere in the world can grant credit of the taxes not paid and it can never happen in India. Some nuisance and non snec ejudgement in VAT era are either not applicable or are outdated. In the interest of your own family, one should try to get maximum credits in GSTR 2a, sooner or latter you will get credits as per 2A only. The businessmen shoudl never rely on statements of experts or tax advisors. They are here to run their business only. If you cannot compel your own supplier to file GSTR returns, how do you expect government to be after some 70 Lacs dealers. more
