To my mind the infrastructure development (road, sewerage, electricity, etc) has never been on priority and importance for Governments (irrespective of political leadership) but sale of land to colonisers and sector identification were very important for best known reasons. Hence, the residents keep on suffering. Bad roads (internal /external), no sewer or clogged sewer are obvious.... This accumulated over two decades has become monstrous..... Current Government and administration have to struggle hard to patch the problems.... but Gurgaon has lost the opportunity for a systematic development...... There are problems all around to be fixed.... more

Beside the incapability people in power have care-less attitude. The city drains are clogged, people concerned do not do their job & get paid. Government is their for doing politics and blaming others. Moreover storm drains were laid out by contractors haphazardly without any technical supervision. Either they did not know the technicalities of laying & connecting such huge storm water drain pipes or care-less attitude. Also there were no supervision from during the laying/connecting the drain pipes from Government dept. So there are no way out for drain water and city gets inundated in one hrs. rain. And these people talk about making Smart Cities... sure know to Talk big and fool people. more
