Happiness to Senior Citizens

Not voting the BJP for claiming our RIGHTS is a ridiculous idea. People have voted for Congress for 60 long years - could we get the privileges which you are asking now ? Yes, I agree with you on the point that Parliamentarians are going on increasing their salary & perks - this matter is worth considering ; but boycotting the Modi Govt is not the solution.
More over, if you (Railwaymen) deserve extra privileges , why other Govt servants and Sr.Citizens not ?
In view of what I have said, Mr. Iyyanki V Muralikrishna, let us find some different strategy to bend the Govt (get the Govt agree) for making sr.citizens happy (rather than boycotting BJP).
My friend, just think with cool mind,if a coalition government (ie A Modi Hatao Party ) is formed, what will be the chaos ! Perhaps an unimaginable situation ! more

The biggest loss created by Congress through 2005 Amendment Act on the Senior Citizens Of Course , the Old aged is conditioning Property Share to Female while HE WAS DEPRIVED OF THIS SHARE THROUGH THE LAND CEILING ACT . This added with the carried economical insufficiency to get education and livelihood made his own Children FLY from family responsibility and to repay loans of education and brought up . ANY NEW GOVT. DEFINITELY NEED BEYOND 10 YEARS IF PRESENT ACUTE DEMANDS OF ECONOMY OF GENERAL PUBLIC IS THOUGHT in terms of even the 2011 Statistics . We have to understand with due comparision of Rule and in the various categories of Life lead . more
Congress did not think of general public while addressing Subsidy on Gas to all Indians irrespective of Economic Status like in case of Reservations on Caste. Upon request of NDA Govt., a considerable number of Citizen given up Subsidy . But, the MEN AND SUPPORTING LEADERS OF POLITICAL PARTIES STILL NOT REALIZE THEIR BARE MINIMUM SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ON THIS ISSUE. Where from Funds comes to Governments while the Tax avoiders , Misusers and Misappropriaters increasingly making mountains of Black Money ?. more
Any improvement in efficiency of Govt. offices even by a fraction - NO. Agreed 180 degree turn-around may not be possible, but 4 years are sufficient to show minutest improvement - nothing has improved - same old bureaucracy, same old apathy, same old VIPs, same old poor healthcare. In front of us, 2 years ago, a car caught fire on the road in Munich, Germany & Police was there in 2 minutes flat. That is response time & Govt. proactiveness. That is good Governance!!! more
Wrong. Please note Modi Govt. is withdrawing the benefits, seniors enjoyed during Congress regime. As regards Railways, I travelled from MughalSarai to Patna in Feb. 18 - trains including Rajdhani Exp. late 6 hrs. to 14 hrs; another travel from Pune to Vadodara by Chennai - Amd Exp on March 19th - train late by over one hour. Is that good Governance?? Any improvement in daily life - NO SIR. Rampart VIP culture if anything, has only increased. Most annoying Modi has not fulfilled a single promise - Kashmir, Art. 370, Power sharing with Mehbooba, just one so called Surgical strike & hoola-baloo around it, but what achievement - Nil. Any prosecution of bureaucrats / politicians - Adarsh ( Mumbai ), Stamp ghotala, Augusta Wastland, National Herald, Robert Vadra free, CWG, 2G & Scores of cases in cold storage. Likes of Malya, Nirav Modi scooting away points to bad Governance which Modi totm-tommed so much. Is common man nearer to faster & cleaner justice - again NO. Have hospitals' condition improved - NO, Are there more schools in villages - NO. Non - issues like Prohibition, cow & likes are centre stage. Has corruption on ground level gone or atleast reduced - BIG NO. Has Govt. machinery become slightly more responsive or acts with empathy - NO. Then what are we talking??? more
I fully support the views as expressed by Mr Gour, as regards NOT Voting the BJP for claiming our RIGHTS is ridiculous idea. It is totally absurd to think of re-voting for Congress. In BJP days, we could see many new trains with lots of amenities are rolling out, but what we have done, other than breaking the facilities, stealing the TV, ear phones etc. For past many many years many areas were left with single track, which now it is seen that it is taking shape. For example, between Gulbarga and Hotgi (approx 100 kms), this track used to be a single track for past many years, but now it is seen doubling work is going on and on some stretch mail / express trains are running on both the track. This part is important connecting Mumbai / Pune to eastern part of India and right upto chennai / kanya kumari etc. more
