Hassles faced in Digital India

Our Govt is heavily promoting Digital India and it is really good we are becoming more dependent on digitisation. However, would like to quote some examples, which I have been facing in diff way -
1. Digilocker : ITR file -0.06 MB upload issue in their Drive. They are attempting but failing to address it since one month. Same file getting easily uploaded in G drive, OneDrive, Dropbox !
2. NVSP : Pwd not getting reset for specific Log in User name. This was reqd to download EPIC, but since 8 months no solution. Suggested to delete old acct, so that new one can be Sign up. Std formatted mail keeps coming.
3. Ahmedabad Muni Corp portal : Was able to Log in with pwd, but one fine morning issues started and unable to do anything. Noone addressing it nor responses to e mails. Knowing deptt high inefficiency, left w/o hope.
4. Income tax portal : Wrong mob no fetched in TRACES; In my wife AIS - my mob no is fetched.
5. CIBIL : Lot of erroneous personal info captured from here and there. Wanted to streamline, but all efforts in vain.
6. New India Assurance - PMSBY Insurance: Every time failing to download the Insurance policy. Portal invariably says " Invalid details". On putting up to their agency GRADATIM, we then get it by mail. There are no efforts seen in resolving system error, inspite of complaints !!

Govt I.T team has to be strong to resolve all such hassles in order to overcome obstacles and have smooth experience... more

Systems are lacking in features, are not user-friendly, poorly planned, bug-ridden or remain a novelty because of lack of a suitable design. The enormity of time-wasted on such applications is mind-boggling. Be it IT, MCA or several other government sites - they are an insult to the users. more
These are some of the common problems which have been lingering for long for reasons neither known nor explained. An in-depth study should be done to attend to these. more
1. First target must be full literacy and computer literacy. 2. working helpline numbers of govt and corporate agencies. 3.Availability of quality network. 4. Finally, effective cyber security norms and implementation. Without these things we can not dream of digital India. more
Like in BHIM, touted as a friendly UPI payment mode, has inherent problems. For eg., repeat payment option though provided is not working. Similarly setting as a favorite is a problem. And sometimes suddenly payment does not go through. Similarly Aadhaar updation online is also a problem. An address change request is pending for the last 6 weeks. It is mentioned in the site that updation is free upto a a certain period. But it is not taking the updation and charges are requested to be paid. With all the talk about Technology in India, we do not get a product of perfection. Look at Japanese or European or American products. They are made perfect. There is a casual attitude and negligence of duty and above all inability to accept the mistake and correct them are some of the hallmark of the Indian Industry. more
Network issue is more often than not the main culprit! Forget MTNL/BSNL, all other private players are equally responsible. I am afraid, private players (experience with VI) are heavily advocating post paid services, with pre-paid customers often left with poor connectivity! If you complain on their 'apps', the complaint is registered & omitted after 3-4 days, but no response. Public corporations (experience with PMC), often insist that customers use their apps, which apart from poor network (maybe excluding metro cities), are almost always not working properly. If government wants Digital India to be successful, private/public players' initiative, accountability & active trouble shooting of customer issues (not just 'eyewashes') by them is necessary. more
