Hathway broadband - a fraud on public

I have subscribed the Hathway broadband 50MBPS 75 GB plan for 5151 for three months. From day one, I have been struggling with the speed provided by the company. It is now 17 days. I plan was activated on 3.4.2016. Account number is 1099226761. I lodged complaint on this forum also. In reply, I got a response from the company on 19.4.2016 that their technical team will contact me ASAP.
Today in the morning, the speed was 1.19, in the evening, it was 0.25 and now at 10.50, 0.19 against my payment for 50. Such a dismal behavior. I have to lodge a complaint almost daily. I have told their executives that I did not subscribe to this service for a fun. Further, I don't have enough time to disturb myself for such complaints. I subscribed for the service because I needed the speed. This has been wasting my time, money, energy and peace of mind.
The technician of hathway has visited me a number of times and changed the router twice. Various reasons have been given against such behavior of the broadband. One is that the company is using the basic router and for more speed, I should install my own router. (The company promises free router). The other solution given to me is that whenever the speed is down, I should shut down the router for a few minutes and then restart. No permanent solution is given.
My experience shows that Hathway is a fraud company. It does not have the competence or will to serve the customers as per the promise and the payment collected. I have recorded all the conversation I had with the executive, customer care etc. I will recommend all the prospective customers who are thinking of subscribing to Hathway not to do so and think hundred times before the take a decision to subscribe for Hathway.
I am putting up this review of social media and hope that the company launches defamation case against me in the court of law. In that case, I will produce all the conversation before the court and am sure that the verdict will be in my favour and I will be awarded a heavy cost. I have requested the representative of the company a number of times that if they are not able to provide me the agreed speed for which I have paid, they should refund me my money. But I think, being a fraudulent company, they are not responding to this request.
Another thing, as per the company, the my above account was started on 31.3.2016 and if anybody dials the customer care, the IVR menu says that my account is deactive in their data base. Really really really a disgusting affair which in today's world cannot be excused.
I hope that the executives of the company who read this review will definitely take a decision to refund my money alongwith compensation and an unqualified apology. Anybody from the company can contact me and I will play the recording with me about my complaints and also show the results of speed done by me on speedtest.net. more

I absolutely agree with that, i have just taken a connection 3 days back and they have promised me for 50 mbps speed but all i'm getting is hardly 1-2 mbps, while the invoice generated by them is absolutely wrong in which they printed 25 mbps and also the date period is incorrect against which i have already filed a complaint. They are really fraud. Strict actions should be taken against them. more

Dear Mr Singh, You have described yourself as a retired civil servant. I take it you were under the employment of the Government of India. Then how come you have not chosen one of the Government Offered Broadband, obviously you knew too well. Sorry Mr Singh this was not meant to be anything personal. This issue of poor customer service is much too deep rooted in our Psyche to be as simple as filing a complaint here or there. When we ourselves are on the other side as suppliers we pay scant regard to customer requirements and actually harass customers knowing fully well that the legal framework is poor. Let us all resolve to be a model supplier to our customers and pass this message to all if we really want to improve services more  
Due to unhealthy competition the companies are offering various schemes, but indirectly cheating the public. Apart from the customer cell, no other alternatives are readily available. Government to provide protection. more
