Hazardous goods selling on eCommerce sites
yesterday it was found that swords were selling on snapdeal website. some time back cigars and hooka were selling on these portals. are there any prohibitive material list that says these items cannot be sold via ecommerce apps and websites. who will administer the same?

You must be well aware that the same is STOPPED with Immediate effect with directives NOT to initiate the similar Practice. The Buyers also questioned and interrogated. more

If any ecommerce company is holding trade licence, he can sell anything, if it is not a banned item. Let the government, come out with some guidelines. more

Not only hazardous goods are being offered for sale but some substandard and questionable authenticity goods also. Is there any law in India governing the items to be sold on e commerce platforms. May we know under which ministry jurisdiction that these services are administered. more
