HEARTENING TO SEE THE RAILWAY DESIGNERS & STAFF BLOSSOM INTO EXPERTS IN PROVIDING COMFORTS,HYIGENE:

Thanks to the current situation and free hand accorded with decentralization and the spirit of challenge . These are specially designed for the COVID 19 ISOLATION COACHES - This Virus will remain for some time to come .

SO IT IS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN THE SAME QUALITY OF CLEANLINESS AND REDUCING THE CROWDING . And let there be a permanent design with these features to be incorporated

Look at the Flushing device that is designed , it will leave no remnants at the Commode. This to be adopted in all the Toilets of Rail coaches .

THE RATIO OF WESTERN / SQUATING TOILETS SHOULD BE
50 /50 share of the 4 in a compartment - WE SEE A HUGE CROWD WAITING FOR THE SINGLE WESTERN TOILET IN ANY COMPARTMENT - Kindly note for the future designs immediately .

Rethink on the number of passengers to travel in the sleeper coaches . NOMORE 3 TIER ?

WHO SAID RAILWAY STAFF LACK KNOWLEDGE & SKILL ; THEY WERE UNDER UTILIZED ALL ALONG . LOOK FOR BIG DAYS AHEAD IN THE INDIAN RAILWAYS . more

Its nice to learn that the rail coaches earmarked to put the Covid19 infected patients in isolation have been redesigned user friendly giving utmost importance towards cleanliness and hygiene as well as the comforts of the patients being put therein. Undoubtedly, this is a testimony and display of ability and competent worthiness of the designers and engineers of the Indian railways. Though it is justified to expect similar fittings and facilities in the regular coaches with reduced capacity, the important aspects of cost viability and the railway's capabilities to introduce additional trains to accommodate the left over passengers due to introducing reduced capacity coaches have to be examined first. These apart, the railways also need to examine another important aspect of our rail tracks' capabilities of bearing the rush of additional trains. As far as extinguishing of 3 tier coaches is concerned, these issues also depend on costing and introducing additional trains and if the railways accept the suggestions, the prices of journey in these coaches will certainly go up by minimum 50% of the present prices. Whether the passengers of these coaches capable and prepared to meet this extra cost are the important questions to consider. more
It appears like a breath of fresh air is beginning to flow through the Railways "think-tank", to finally let engineers to designs of railway coaches. There certainly is need to have more number of toilets in a coach seating 60 - 100 pax., especially for overnight passengers. Alternatively, make coaches with lesser seating capacity. The video shows the new flushing system. Hope the coaches have sufficient water reservoir capacities. And one couldn't see support-rods on the side-wall to hold on to. Hope the hand wash basin is not again 6 inches x 8 inches. Liquid soap dispensers, paper towels etc. are also inseparable inventory in such a toilet. A few hooks on the inside of the door to hand coats, shawls, bags etc. are generally overlooked. more
Railway is hardly utilizing their strength and expertise. The cleaning staff and lethargic and hardly keep the latrine in higenic condition. There is no supervisor to look after their activities at important stations. Water to the latrine sometimes not available. So far the loss of the Railway is concerned, it is the Railway to look back. When the trains are running fully packed, why there should be lose. All opportunities have been used to generate revenue, except reduction of staff at Officer's quarter and avoidable ammenities. We do not mind increasing the fair reasonably, if the Railway can come to profit. more
Our Railways is a very huge organization in this entire world. The fares need proper revision keeping in view the self distancing aspect also.By and large Railways are doing fairly good job. We public also should co-operate to take it to greater heights. more
