This is carbide ripened more
This is a sign of under nourished mangoes or water shortage to mango tree. I am a mango cultivator and had lot of mangoes as shown in the pic. It is neither a effect of preservatives nor of chemicals used for ripening. more
It might not be preservative residual but it might be residue saliva of fruit which was not wiped properly while plucking raw fruit from the tree and not properly wiped with due procedure. more
In case we want to avoid the artificially ripened mangoes then we need to buy raw mangoes and wrap them up in newspaper and they shall ripen in a few days naturally. Ethylene is required for ripening the fruits and is produced naturally by the plants. Carbide (Actually it is Calcium Carbide) gives us acetylene when it comes in contact with water. more
even these can perish more
Mangoes are no more safer to eat..ppl are so greedy and playing with people's health more
it has started decaying. Thats all. Just remove that area. Rest you can eat more
