My Name on Aadhaar and UAN Account is different and because of which it does not allow me to transfer my PF

Once your log in using uan number there is a option to update name as per your Aadhar card which your company need to approve and after that PF office will correct as per aadhar. I have completed 1 & 2 step and waiting for pf office to correct. more

This Option seems to be working. I was finally able to update my Name and now it is pending with the Employer to Approve. more

Well advised. But first change your name with correct spelling as mentioned in your school/college records in the Aadhaar Card, and then approach EPFO for the change of name. Also, confirm that your name and spellings in the Banks and other financial institutions are the same as in the Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. more

Mr Ammar ,same problem with me , spelling mistake in Adhar, so please get corrected your name spelling either on Adhar or pan , similar to Bank account name.you can get new Adhar or Pan. Not a big issue. more

You can send on line request. Open the EPFO home portal. Login your account, Go to Manage tab and then correct my basic details which in turn go to employer. After acceptance by employer, it will be approved by field office. It all will take less than one week. more

Dear Sir, You must first correctly establish your identity and keep only one name starting from birth certificate to educational certificates across schools,colleges, universities to employment establishments, marriage certificates, all types of financial instruments , insurances, passport, PAN card, AADHAR Card, EPFO,UAN etc. then publish in news paper that henceforth you will be known by this name. With all these things you can approach the relevant authorities and transfer your PF account. This will actually correct every thing. Why to have different names for causing unnecessary confusion and doubt. please take corrective step. Regards. more
