Helpline No 138 & 1512 and its response

I am feeling very sad in telling you people that for very first time i used railway Helpline no 138 to register a complaint about a ladies coach being occupied by men today in ala hazrat train. i called up helpline no at 5.48 am but nothing happened even after confirmation that complaint has been forwarded. i called up again around 9.00 am again but the response was same. then i called up on 1512 helpline that was not picked up. I confirmed the coach situation by calling up my mother who was going in the coach that no one has attended the coach for the cause.
i want to know for what the helpline is for, only for register a complaint. if something goes wrong then what to do with this helpline.
I firmly belive that responsibilty has to be fixed on such cases. more

Railway must suspend the executive attendant of 138 helpline in such case........ more
This can truly happen if the organizers/authorities actually understand the value of such systems! Who cares or validates these systems till one is gaining popularity and enjoying common man's money for free? more
Most of the coaches for special trains are not getting proper cleaned, even in AC coaches. You can fix the responsibility on the maintenance team of the terminating station. Railway should provide proper infrastructure to take care of growing needs. more
This is the tragic situatation today. The Helplines are only for advertisement and on paper.Practically no one checks or followups. The GM of both Central and Western are responsible. The should be pulled up by the railway ministry for not doing their job.Everytime an incidence happens they give excuses and pass on the buck.It s time for the railway minister to wake up. more
That's an unfortunate, uncalled for and undesired but hard-hitting reality. Many numbers are floated by passengers and people either on social media or even in newspapers but there is no immediate response when the help is needed. One has to constantly keep trying to reach through these numbers. If you are lucky enough to lodge a written complaint, various zones will keep forwarding your complaint with a copy to you. Once for a bad quality of bedroll and lack of cleanliness in coach, the complaint I lodged with great difficulty was responded by 3 zones and finally the letter said that the contractor has been severely warned and we are sorry for the inconvenience. the entire thing took 8 months to float and end but that train is still pathetic in cleanliness. Now, here is what is required implementation of rules with a firm and strict will which unfortunately we have yet to see. more
