Hi All, My UAN portal shows my gender as "Not Available" and I got an SMS from EPFOHO that "Your AADHAR could not be verified against your UAN due to missing information (GENDER). You are requested to update the missing information through your employer". Now I have started my own business and not in to a full time employment. How can I update gender in UAN portal. more

Dear members, Sorry to hear about one of the issue in updating your records. Unfortunately there thousands of examples. India's talent is used for sourcing world class software. But pf department automation is in pathetic state of affairs. Govt should question who is doing this implementation and validate right people or involved in pf dept computerization. Make sure standard quality software applications are built to serve millions of pf members. Make it fast so that big disaster will be averted. more

Unbelievable, they do not believe us for writing our gender correctly. Employer has to update that also. more

Today, we live in a world where everything has tobe done ONLINE. If everything goes well; Thank GOD; One will be lucky. Even if minor corrections are tobe done; the process become cumbursom that ordinary & even normal skilled people cannot do itwithout surmounting all problems. sir it is really a issue that before asking by individual to epfo office the correction if any way it is not done they should telly all information from adhar card and correct it . individual had left the job in last company in what circumstances ,why they will help him . more
