Yes it could be a deep seated injection abcess. Get it checked by a doctor. Make a complaint to the concerned hospital too. more

Suggest go back to the same Doctor and explain him the problem. Also officially communicate in writing to the hospital management, ie Director etc about the issue ? Regards more

this is probably a painful site due to the possibility of formation of an abscess. it occurs frequently in people on blood thinners. it needs to be confirmed physically. antibiotics thereafter may help. drainage is sometimes required. more
