Donating blood is such a satisfying experience that you would like to go for it again and again. As they say there is no substitute for human blood, so be prepared for donation. I had been donating as a student, then as a teacher in the University, motivated my students to do the same. You feel proud and happy when you know you have saved a life, a family. It is sad that a senior citizen can't donate blood, otherwise I would have been the first one in the queue. more
