Hi Good Morning and Good day to all. I've a tear in my shoulder tissue as per scan report. When I raise my hand or do some work, my shoulder used to get struck in a raised position some times. This gives unbearable pain and to bring back my hand back to its position, I used to struggle for some time with pain. Even after bringing back, the pai will be there for the full day. Allopath doctors are suggesting for surgery. I came to know that there are options in terms of Physiotherapy, Ayurveda, Siddha and Magnetic treatment. Can any one suggest me which is the best treatment? Please suggest/advise. more

There are three types of tears. Mild, Moderate and Severe. Oftentimes with a mild tear, a person may experience some discomfort or a tingling sensation, however, beyond that no other effects may be noticed and the person may not even associate that discomfort with a tear at all. These sorts of tears heal themselves over a short period of time and usually the person is able to keep up with physical activity and not see any loss in strength. In this case physiotherapy will helpful to regain muscle strength. more

Request you to consult Patanjali Chikitsalaya in your city and get advice from an Ayurvedic doctor. If you wish, advise you to go to Haridwar at the main campus of Patanjali (Baba Ramdev) and get any additional treatment they specify. There is a full fledged Ayurvedic Hospital there. Kindly note Ayurvedic treatment requires you to adjust your way of life. It encompasses thought (Yoga & pranayam), food (certain food restrictions will be imposed temporarily), daily exercises, good sleep, and also relief from stress or tension, and medicine and or oil messgaes temporarily. I can assure you, you will get immensely benefitted. I am practising all of the above and very easily managing my prolapsed discs L4 & L5, and cervical spondilitis C3 & C4 for last five years and leading a normal life. I am doing all activities normally which all allopathic doctors prohibited me to do. more

How come the Allopathy doctor find out about the tear in muscle. It cannot be seen in X-ray. So he only assumes it. My recent experience, when I took my wife to Ramachandra hospital, the ortho specialist just asked to take a X-ray and said bone is fine. So only the muscle has tightened and suggested Physiotheraphy. They do not even touch the patient. So some times they are right and some times they are alo wrong. In my case he was wrong. I only wasted my money. and my wife suffered pain for 2 weeks. The Ayurveda specialist who is also a specialist in VARMA treatment made it cure in 4 days sitting. Some times they know better about the bones and nerves than our learned Orthos. more
