High handed ness of indigo staff

Today me and my husband are traveling by an indigo flight schedule departure 8.05 which showed on time and and the passengers were made to board on time but even then the staff knew that it will take minmum two to three hours to flight to clear
In the confined space packed like sardines one is packed I do not understand this treatment !!!!!!!!
When it was very clear the flights can not be cleared because of foggy conditions the passengers should have been informed in advance or at least make them wait at the terminal more

I think they should have informed the passengers and asked them to wait in lounge area. If delay is due to fog, it might not be possible to forecast exactly when clearance will be obtained, but one can begin boarding procedure once tentative clearance is received. more  
The senior management has to train the staff to take proper care of the customers and take note of such incidents. Those responsible for such repeat incidents must be penalized. Such a punitive action should be publicized for the benefit of the customers who will have a better appreciation. This will make others fall in line. The image of the organization is created by the actions of the staff. more  
Resources are falling into the wrong hands. New generation certainly have great energy but lacks practical experince and decency particularly while dealing seniors. They feel that what they are doing is their mercy and that the rest have to follow. This attitude has to change. Thanks more
