A traffic cops life should be very hard. delhi summers, winters then noise pollution, air pollution, chaotic traffic etc. Perhaps we should think about cameras monitoring traffic and penalizing those who break rules. Speakers can be installed along with cameras where police control room can warn rule breakers or else chalan them. Even a PCR van can be sent to the location of issue instead of putting police people 24X7 at a place. I mean we need way more police personals than we already have. We should explore camera surveillance option more seriously now. more

Now a days even Google maps indicate heavy traffic roads in Delhi, traffic cop's location shall be also monitored on map as an overlay by Delhi traffic police control center. then only the policy makers will know how much resources are being wasted. more

Is traffic police meantonlyto challan people because you will normally see them only at places where there is smooth traffic after a big messy traffic.no police men are ever seen to solve that mess but the minute you are in smooth ttaffic and try driving faster u find them.i am notjustifying rash driving more
