Hitachi is not taking interest to repair the AC

Can anyone suggest, how I can take legal action against Hitachi? I bought an inverter 2 T AC. It went out of order within 4 months of purchase. Complain raised, technician visited, told me about manufacturing defect and advised me to wait for new parts. Thereafter they are silent. I raised the issue at different centralised customer care platform of Hitachi. Their answer your complaint is active and they terminated the chat. more

Of course you can seek legal remedies. Approach The Consumers Forum. Justice will be delivered in a very short time. more
First, issue a Notice to Hitachi by post or email ( preferably email to have a record) giving 7 -day time to repair or else say that you shall take legal action. This step is necessary. 2. If Hitachi does not repair in 7- day time, file a Complaint in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Then , I am sure, they will come running to you for out- of- court settlement. In that case ask them to pay the expenses incurred in filing the complaint and to do the repairs. more

Almost all private companies are now a days dealing casually with the customers and not attending to the complaint. Please issue a Regd. notice to the company giving 15 days notice and in case of failure, raise one dispute with the Dist. Consumer Forum. more
