Holiday Club Company Cheating
I was invited to the country club office in Rajkot for presentation regarding holiday club membership.
We were explained for more than two hours about what we can get if we take country club membership. They show all properties of country club, country vacations and many associate. You will be under impression that you are taking Country Club membership but when they take your signature on the documents are of Country Vacations, this I signed as I was under impression that I am signing Country Club documents. They have mentioned about we are agree with all terms and conditions which are not mentioned and we believe that whatever is informed verbally should be there in terms and conditions as after signing we were informed that we will receive all documents at our address. I was shocked when I got the courier it was containing only one plastic card and one few pages brochure which I got after paying handsome amount. Now when I am asking about what was informed to me is not there they are keeping quiet or replying general reply. Actually they are taking huge amount and asking for maintance charge. So if you count interest on the amount given to them plus the maintenance charge you can easily have four star hotel stay on your own at your choice hotel. Here they are taking away your membership amount and offering lower grade properties then what committed. Even they are not giving in writing what they offered us and now they are refusing to give what was committed. They have not left any proof or clue so that we can drag them to consumer forum/fight legally.
I felt we should find out some way to stop them their kind of cheating process and hence I am writing this for benefit of the people.
Please let me have some suggestions so that I can start fight against this. If many people are joining it would be great help to me and to our society.

Next time do not buy insurance also because insurance is the same racket and government supported to boot. more

Please keep away from signing any documents without getting the opportunity to go through the same. more

Don't rely on these cheaters under any circumstances otherwise you will experience such lessons every time you are trapped. more

I and my wife was telephonically intimated to have won a lucky prize and was being hourly reminded by them to come to a telephonically given address . After reaching there. we were kept waiting for more than one hour - stating judges were yet to arrive, equipment for presentation are being made ready, it would not look nice to give away the prizes in a half-empty hall etc. But we were not being allowed to leave also. Only after showing a throwing a rough attitude - we could free ourselves. BEWARE OF the organisation 'COUNTRY CLUB' more
