Hookah sales by Paan shops in Delhi
A lot of young between 15 and 30 are consuming hookahs on friday and saturday nights in their parties.
Many products like brain freezer are openly being sold by pan shops.
These pan wallahas are not so interested in selling 25 re pans, and their focus is selling hookahs for 650 rupees.
Is this allowed by delhi government. Who checks? Isnt health minister or food dept checking.
Yesterday i spoke to a 21-22 year olf girl who was buying this and she said i and my friends love the numb feeling after this and other such products and other party drugs and then you can let stuff happen to you carefree. On one hand we talk about rapes in delhi on other hand we allow hookahs and party drugs!
Not sure when the administrators will get going. more

Great....Really Great....why has it become a practice among us to hold Government and its agencies responsible for each and every thing? Ms. Verma didn't you have the presence of mind to ask the 21-22 something girl if she has responsible parents and siblings at home? This also shows that parents these days seem least bothered about their children leaving them on their own and then turning to blame government when things go wrong. A few days back a youth died in Delhi's posh area riding on a high end fast motorbike and the parents who bought him the 25 lacs bike then appealed to government to ban high end bike sales. If only we all act as responsible citizens and parents and not expect government to act for us, the world would be a better place for all. more

I am really concerned. Something must be done about it. This is so pathetic that just for the sake of money, these small-vendors get ready to sell such poisonous stuff to our youth. more
