Hospital loot under COvid 19

This Attached is a hospital in Mumbai. They have exhibited the tariff card in the lobby for the convenience of the public, of course to avoid a fight post discharge.

profusely if you are admitted to an ICU with ventilator. hospitals are making hay while the 'sun' shines.

Will health ministry or chief ministers office take action? more

Maharashtra takes 80% beds in private hospitals, caps charges for treatment: The charges for a Covid-19 patient in isolation ward cannot be more than Rs 4,000 a day, the maximum charge for an ICU(for (intensive care unit)is capped at Rs 7,500aday, and charges for ventilatorarecappedatRs9,000 a day. The new charges will include drugs, doctor consultation fees, nursing, food and bed charges, but will exclude a Covid test ,personal protective equipment, MRI, CT scan and expensive drugs like Tocilizumab. Earlier, a Covid-19 patient was normally chargedbetweenRs40,000and Rs 50,000 a day for ventilator in a private hospital With caps, the charges will be lower by as much as82per cent. more

In Maharashtra, the CM and Health minister has declared the COVID19 patient charges shall be born by Govt of Maharashtra. why you are not taking with Govt on this? more  
Has all humanity vanished ... In such situation when health care system should support people around they have opened up a money making business ... Healthcare system needs govt. regulation.... people are losing job left, right and center .... enough people don't even have health insurance ... public health system cannot support this pandemic as it's not even 10% read for huge influx of cases one’s the lockdown completely open's up ... if private healthcare player become so atrocious and in human people will opt to die rather than paying huge bills ... more
